Interviews
Funnywump’s interview with the Japanese organisation ‘shop fight’ was done in December 2003 and reflects on MWR up till that point, its strengths, weaknesses, successes and failures in comparison to traditional trade unionism.
Funnywump is droning on again one month later (how can he bear to live with himself?) in this interview with some French Syndicalists, conducted in January 2004. Wump attempts to advance some sort of theory while providing an overview of the political climate in the UK and the anarchist movement; describing the demographic of the McDonalds workforce in the UK and studying the everyday policing of capitalist production; Presenting his (probably half-baked) views on MWR, revolution, anarcho-syndicalism, structures for working class resistance, capitalist crisis, insurrectionism and more. Consider yourself warned.
This older interview was conducted for an article in The Face back in 2000, much of the discussion of McDonalds and MWR remains relevant while the rest is an interesting historical curiosity.
More interviews may appear sometime in the future. But probably not. It will probably prove too much effort to type them up.
